At the 30th anniversary of the Appetite for Destruction album, Creative Allies held a fan art poster contest which actually inspired me a lot (I didn’t win anything BUT the winning contributions were really good and sort of challenged me to practice more). Now, or in September that is, it is actually 30 YEARS since the release of the Use Your Illusion albums and I was hoping there would be a new contest. But so far I havn’t seen anythying.
Anyways, I started making a tribute shirt/poster/sticker motive as seen above. Those of you who remember the “Don’t Cry” video will hopefully understand the inspiration. I’m not too sure about the background though … or the text. But stay tuned for an updated post when I have made a t-shirt out of it.
